The Bronze version is our free version and is not designed to be a trial of our paid editions. There is NO UPGRADE PATH to our paid editions. It is very simple. It generates up to 500 non configurable ticket numbers for a single raffle and those tickets numbers are embedded in the woocommerce email order receipt. The main page on the plugin menu is grayed out. This page is an example of the options that are available in the Silver, Gold and Platinum paid versions. There is also no category designation. The bronze edition only works for a SINGLE RAFFLE. All products with a number entered in the “number of raffle tickets” field will be in the SAME RAFFLE.
Getting Started: #
The Raffle Ticket Generator is an addon to woocommerce. You need to create a woocommerce product first. The Raffle Ticket Generator works withe a SIMPLE woocommerce product. It does not work with Variable products. When the plugin is installed and activated, you simply designate the number of tickets in the Raffle Ticket section of the product details. The example in the screen shot below will generate and provide the customer with 8 raffle ticket numbers when that product is purchased.
A common misconception is to put the total number of tickets in that box. The Bronze version does not have that option to limit the number of tickets. That is a gold only option.
For example, if you wanted to offer 3 ticket options such as:
- 1 ticket for $10
- 3 tickets for $25
- 8 tickets for $50
You would create 3 woo commerce products. For the first one, set the price at $10 and the number of raffle tickets generated to 1. For the 3 tickets, set the price to be $25 and the number of raffle tickets to be 3.
That is all the configuration that is needed.
